New Framework helps schools, colleges and universities to buy ICT equipment and services
Medhurst is delighted to announce that it has been named as a supplier on the Government’s recently launched technology framework. The Education Technology framework, designed by Crown Commercial Service (CCS) in collaboration with the Department for Education, helps schools, colleges and universities to buy ICT equipment and services.
Medhurst has been named a supplier for Lot 3: Broadband Services. This means that we can supply all connectivity services from full fibre broadband services (new services/upgrade of existing), support and maintenance to internet filtering, firewall, eSafety and IP connectivity.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Charlie Baynes, Managing Director at Medhurst commented, “Medhurst helps over 500 schools and colleges make the most of their IT budgets with cost-effective, innovative IT solutions. This new framework will enable schools, colleges and universities to procure all their technology requirements through one single agreement to equip or refresh their estates. Our education customers will also be able to call-off for up to a maximum of five years.”
