IT Technician – MANAGED SERVICES TEAM

We are looking for a talented IT Technician to join our Managed Services Team!

You will be based full-time at Godolphin School, in the heart of Salisbury.  A prestigious Independent Day and Boarding School to whom we provide an outsourced IT Managed Service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a couple of years IT Technician experience looking to further their careers with a successful IT Service Provider.

You will be required to provide 1st and 2nd line support on both hardware and software covering desktop PCs, mobile devices, audio visual and networking equipment along with identifying and resolving technical problems.

Essential Skills:

  • Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • User and Device management
  • Troubleshooting
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in an educational environment
  • iOS device deployment
  • Educational Software
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V)
  • Networking experience

Salary will be dependent on experience, starting at £21K.

Helpdesk Engineer

Circa £18k to £25k dependent upon experience

We’re looking for experienced, customer focused individuals for positions within our IT Helpdesk team in our Segensworth East, Fareham, Hampshire office.

Our IT Helpdesk team provides our clients with extremely high levels of support services working within strict SLAs.

Potential candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working in a busy helpdesk team, have a strong commitment to customer service and be able to thrive in an extremely challenging environment.

Experience of the following is essential:

• IT Helpdesk Services

• Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems including Windows Server 2012 R2

• Other Microsoft Applications including Exchange, SQL, MS Office

• Virtualisation (HyperV)

• Active Directory

• Network Topology

Experience of the following would be preferred:

• Virtualisation (VMWare)

• Routers/Firewalls

• Linux

Networking Engineer

Circa £18k to £25k dependent upon experience

We are looking for an ambitious, professional and focused individual to join our expanding Networking Team in our Segensworth East, Fareham, Hampshire office.

The successful candidate will gain a wealth of experience working with a variety of networking and wireless systems and technologies. The position will be a mixture of internal and external duties required to deliver, install and support robust network solutions to our clients.

We strongly believe in personal progression and will provide you with all the tools necessary to fulfil your potential.

Must have solid and demonstrable skills in:

•TCP-IP – Implementation, configuration, troubleshooting
•Ethernet switches: Preferred: HP
•VLAN design/management

 

Desirable Skills

•Experience of working in an IT service delivery organisation
•Wireless Technologies (including site surveys, installation and fault finding)
•VLAN design, configuration and implementation
•Knowledge of HP Networking and HP Wireless would be of benefit
•Firewall technology
•Routing – Implementation, configuration, troubleshooting: Preferred: Cisco, HP (CLI configuration)

 

Post-Sales Support:

•Progressing post sales cases
•Remote configuration, troubleshooting of equipment
•Onsite implementation, configuration, troubleshooting of equipment
•Line implementation, configuration, troubleshooting
•Liaising with manufactures regarding product specific issues
