Medhurst has become the latest long-standing partner to pledge its support to the club, after it was unveiled as AFC Bournemouth’s 2014/15 official IT partner.
The technology support service specialists have been working with the club for a number of years, supplying equipment to staff behind the scenes, before they extended this relationship last year by becoming an official partner.
Medhurst has been working within the corporate sector since 1986, and AFC Bournemouth is one of over 450 clients that they now serve in the south. As part of the deal, Medhurst’s logo will continue to be listed alongside the club partners in the matchday programme and they will also attend regular AFC Business events to advise local organisations on how to get the most out of their IT systems.
Cherries commercial director Rob Mitchell said, “Whilst we have made huge strides on the pitch, off the pitch there have been a number of parties who have been integral to our success and Medhurst is one of these. From their first involvement in helping staff at the club by supplying equipment, they have had a huge impact in helping us maximise and improve our IT systems. I am delighted to have them on board for a further season and look forward to the new and innovative ways they can make our already impressive set-up even better.”
Managing director of Medhurst Communications Ltd Charlie Baynes added, “We’re delighted to be supporting AFC Bournemouth again for this season. We have a very long standing relationship with the club and are proud to have been able to contribute to AFCB’s success in recent years. We look forward to continuing to share in the club’s success as it grows.”
