Visit to discuss issues facing local businesses and hear about company’s growth and technology development plans
Medhurst, a leading IT solutions company in Hampshire, announced today that Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Fareham MP, Mark Hoban recently visited the company’s HQ, following the announcement that Medhurst has been selected (as one of only 12 from hundreds of HP partners in the UK) to be one of a focused group of wireless partners specialising in education and a key partner in helping HP grow their wireless business in the UK.
Medhurst is now the region’s leading authority on education IT issues. During the last 12 months alone, over a hundred and fifty schools have attended Medhurst education seminars to learn more about education technology solutions and services, and to understand how Medhurst can improve their ICT functions whilst meeting ever tighter budgets.
Mr Hoban was also given a demonstration of Medhurst’s Hosted Dashboard cloud solution system at the company’s Innovation Centre. As well as continuing to grow its IT support business (on which the company was founded over 25 years ago), Medhurst has also developed a range of cloud services and solutions, to offer local clients the best and most cost-effective IT solution to meet their requirements.
Mark Hoban, Fareham MP and Financial Secretary to the Treasury said, “I was delighted to meet with Charlie and his team, to hear about the company’s growth plans and to learn more about the exciting future of cloud computing. Medhurst is a very successful and fast growing IT company within the region and I look forward to hearing more about its successes locally.”
The Medhurst cloud solution offers users all the benefits of a sophisticated and responsive IT infrastructure, but at a fraction of the cost. Medhurst’s Dashboard solution is a suite of familiar applications and services which can be accessed from anywhere without the need to maintain on-premise hardware and software, at a cost of £30 per month per user for all email, Microsoft Office Standard, storage and secure back up.
Charlie Baynes, Managing Director, Medhurst adds, “As Gold partners for both Microsoft and HP, we have seen significant growth over the last few years and are looking to further expand our expert team of engineers to meet the demands of our growing customer base. With faster internet connection speeds, we expect more and more companies to take advantage of the obvious benefits offered by cloud computing.”
