Ben Godley and Adam Wyne have both successfully completed their IT apprenticeship at Medhurst and have now joined as permanent members of our technical team. Our next apprentice, Callum Webb, has now joined us on a one year IT apprenticeship and will be completing his training at Training Associates’ Southampton Learning Centre.
As part of their apprenticeship, Ben and Adam studied the CompTIA A+ certification covering the fundamentals of computer technology, installation and configuration of PCs, laptops and related hardware, including basic networking and connectivity for mobile operating systems Android and Apple iOS. The team also passed the Microsoft Networking Fundamentals certification, covering wireless networking, IP addressing, wide area and local area networks, routers, switches, earning a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification.
Adam is now assisting customers with IT support needs, including the Medhurst Dashboard and remote technology solutions and Ben will be working as a field engineer, assisting with on-site client installations and support.

The Medhurst IT apprentice programme also includes hands on experience working as part of our first line technical support team, working closely with more experienced staff to deliver unrivalled customer support.”
